Article 1The adjustment of the heads of certain advisory organizations, established by the Prime Minister, is as follows:

1. Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung shall serve as:

a) Chairman of the National Education Council established by Decision No. 06/QĐ-TTg dated January 14, 1998 of the Prime Minister;

b) Chairman of the Central Steering Committee for Commendation and Awards established by Decree No. 61/HĐBT dated June 16, 1983 of the Council of Ministers (now the Government);

c) Chairman of the Central National Defense Education Council established by Decision No. 119/2001/QĐ-TTg dated August 15, 2001 of the Prime Minister;

d) Chairman of the National Committee for the Decade of Education for Sustainable Development in Vietnam established by Decision No. 295/2005/QĐ-TTg dated November 11, 2005;

đ) Head of the Steering Committee for Administrative Reform of the Government established by Decision No. 200/1998/QĐ-TTg dated October 14, 1998 of the Prime Minister;

e) Head of the Steering Committee for Implementing Directive No. 58-CT/TW of the Politburo on Promoting the Application and Development of Information Technology in the Industrialization and Modernization Process from 2001 to 2005 established by Decision No. 176/2002/QĐ-TTg dated December 3, 2002 of the Prime Minister;

g) Head of the Steering Committee for Key Oil Projects established by Decision No. 1071/QĐ-TTg dated September 26, 2003 of the Prime Minister;

h) Head of the State Steering Committee for the Son La Hydropower Project established by Decision No. 09/2004/QĐ-TTg dated January 15, 2004 of the Prime Minister;

i) Head of the Steering Committee for Building the National Convention Center established by Decision No. 397/QĐ-TTg dated April 21, 2004 of the Prime Minister;

k) Head of the Steering Committee for Higher Education Reform established by Decision No. 170/QĐ-TTg dated February 6, 2006 of the Prime Minister.

2. Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung shall serve as:

a) Chairman of the National Financial Monetary Council established by Decision No. 23/1998/QĐ-TTg dated January 31, 1998 of the Prime Minister;

b) Chairman of the National Water Resources Council established by Decision No. 67/2000/QĐ-TTg dated June 15, 2000 of the Prime Minister;

c) Chairman of the National Council for Sustainable Development established by Decision No. 1032/QĐ-TTg dated September 27, 2005 of the Prime Minister;

d) Chairman of the National Committee for the Elderly established by Decision No. 141/2004/QĐ-TTg dated August 5, 2004 of the Prime Minister;

đ) Head of the State Steering Committee for Tourism established by Decision No. 23/1999/QĐ-TTg dated February 13, 1999 of the Prime Minister;

e) Head of the Steering Committee for Enterprise Reform and Development established by Decision No. 98/2000/QĐ-TTg dated August 17, 2000 of the Prime Minister;

g) Head of the Steering Committee for the National Target Program on Poverty Reduction and Employment from 2001 to 2005 established by Decision No. 177/2001/QĐ-TTg dated November 9, 2001 of the Prime Minister;

h) Head of the Steering Committee for Research on Salary Policy Reform established by Decision No. 179/2001/QĐ-TTg dated November 14, 2001 of the Prime Minister;

i) Head of the Steering Committee for Implementing the Comprehensive Growth Strategy and Poverty Reduction Program and Credit Support for Poverty Reduction established by Decision No. 825/QĐ-TTg dated September 20, 2002 of the Prime Minister;

k) Head of the Steering Committee for Building the National Assembly House and the New Ba Dinh Hall established by Decision No. 143/2002/QĐ-TTg dated October 21, 2002 of the Prime Minister;

l) Head of the Steering Committee for Priority Machinery Product Programs established by Decision No. 112/2003/QĐ-TTg dated June 9, 2003 of the Prime Minister;

m) Head of the Steering Committee for Planning and Investment Construction in the Hanoi Capital Region established by Decision No. 118/2003/QĐ-TTg dated June 11, 2003 of the Prime Minister;

n) Head of the Steering Committee for Organizing Coordination in Developing Key Economic Regions established by Decision No. 1022/QĐ-TTg dated September 28, 2004 of the Prime Minister;

o) Head of the Steering Committee for Implementing Resolution No. 27/NQ-TW dated June 16, 2003 of the Politburo of the Ninth Central Committee of the Party on Building and Developing National Defense Industry until 2006 established by Decision No. 61/2004/QĐ-TTg dated April 13, 2004 of the Prime Minister;

p) Head of the State Steering Committee for Basic Survey of Natural Resources and Environment in the Sea established by Decision No. 889/QĐ-TTg dated June 22, 2006 of the Prime Minister.

3. Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Khiem shall serve as:

a) Chairman of the National Committee for International Economic Cooperation established by Decision No. 70/2002/QĐ-TTg dated June 6, 2002 of the Prime Minister;

b) Chairman of the National Committee for APEC 2006 established by Decision No. 195/2005/QĐ-TTg dated August 5, 2005 of the Prime Minister;

c) Head of the State Steering Committee for the South China Sea and Islands established by Decision No. 398/QĐ-TTg dated August 5, 1993 of the Prime Minister;

d) Head of the Government Steering Committee for Delimitation and Marker Placement of the Land Border between Vietnam and China established by Decision No. 109/2002/QĐ-TTg dated August 16, 2002 of the Prime Minister;

đ) Head of the Human Rights Steering Committee established by Decision No. 63/2004/QĐ-TTg dated April 16, 2004 of the Prime Minister;

e) Head of the Steering Committee for the Project to Strengthen and Renovate the Border Mark System between Vietnam and Laos established by Decision No. 20/2005/QĐ-TTg dated January 24, 2005 of the Prime Minister;

g) The Chairman of the Government Steering Committee for delimiting and marking land boundary pillars between Vietnam and Cambodia established by Decision No. 388/QĐ-TTg dated March 9, 2006 of the Prime Minister.

4. Deputy Prime Minister Truong Vinh Trong shall serve as:

a) Chairman of the Central Advisory Board on Pardon established by Decision No. 797/2006/QĐ-CTN dated July 7, 2006 of the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;

b) Chairman of the National Committee for HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control, Drug Abuse Prevention and Control, and Prostitution Prevention and Control established by Decision No. 61/2000/QĐ-TTg dated June 5, 2000 of the Prime Minister;

c) Chairman of the Civil Air Defense Steering Committee established by Decision No. 05/2003/QĐ-TTg dated January 8, 2003 of the Prime Minister;

d) Chairman of the Steering Committee for the National Program on Crime Prevention and Control established by Decision No. 59/2004/QĐ-TTg dated April 9, 2004 of the Prime Minister;

đ) Chairman of the Steering Committee for the Action Program to Prevent and Combat Trafficking in Women and Children established by Decision No. 187/2004/QĐ-TTg dated October 29, 2004 of the Prime Minister.

Article 2The responsibility for the Chairmanship of the National Committee for Search and Rescue established by Decision No. 780/QĐ-TTg dated October 23, 1996 of the Prime Minister shall be transferred to Minister of National Defense Phung Quang Thanh.

Article 3This Decision shall take effect from the date of signature.

Article 4Deputy Prime Ministers, Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of agencies under the Government, Chairmen of provincial People's Committees under the central government shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
